RCRA Initiatives

The RCRA network is currently working on the following initiatives:

• Development of Research Capacity in the Region, in response to the need for more detailed and specific data to effectively address issues of community health and well being.
• Internet Access for All, in the belief that access to the internet will be the most critical determinant of future success for residents of the region.
• RCRA, approaching access to statewide infrastructure financing through a regional planning process.
• RCRA, launching from a regional (five county) industry cluster report called North Coast Targets of Opportunities report completed by Collaborative Economics.
• RCRA, addressing improved access to healthcare, as well as the roles of technology and workforce issues.
• Issues of Immigration, working to build strong diverse communities.
